aodh-api software package provides OpenStack Telemetry (Ceilometer) Alarming - API server, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install aodh-api
aodh-api is installed in your system.
Make ensure the aodh-api package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep aodh-api *
You will get with aodh-api package name, version, architecture and description in a table
